Summer Dock Assistants on Lake Wylie
Our business is only as good as our staff! Our staff is the first impression every customer has even before they step aboard our beautiful new pontoon boats. That first impression is very important to us.
We are searching for a great dock assistant! Anyone interested should drop us a line on the contact us page. PAY: $14 an hr.
Dock Assistant Duties:
- Clean & Refuel Pontoons
- Assist in customers returning the pontoons to the dock slips
- Keeping the Docks and Marina area clean
- Customer service and hospitality
- Assist customers boarding the pontoons
- Deliver/Pickup pontoons to VRBO homes around the lake
- Assist customers on the water
Good Candidates for this Position have the following:
– The ability to talk to customers and communicate effectively and professionally
– The ability to lift gas cans that can weigh 40 lbs+
– The ability to be on time (we have a really low tolerance for not being at the marina on time)
– Reliable transportation
– Live close to the marina in Belmont: 1500 River Dr Belmont NC (this job isn’t a good fit for someone with a long commute)
– Knowledge of boating and boating safety is a plus
*Great employees in the past have been people that live on the lake or near the marina, college students home for the summer, high school students wanting an easy side gig, etc.
